Sorry I thought this was a charting thread........where we discussed all things about charts in a civilised manner, but the SP drops and the thread turns to crap. I didnt see the action today as I was out and as a LT holder who believes in the strong fundamentals of AVL I dont tend to watch price during the day anymore but I did some analysis of the course of sales tonight and IMO it looks like either we had a top 20 sell out for about 7m shares or 4 reasonable sized holders sell out during the day. This data is just for the ASX as I dont have Chi-X data.
7m, which was over 50% of the ASX data today came in just 4 trades
12:43pm 1.8m sold @ 3.1c
12:52pm 2.3m sold @ 3.0c
2:45pm 1.4m sold @ 3.0c
2:50pm 1.5m sold @ 3.0c
Who or why they sold I have no idea but I suspect the sales probably also triggered some SL's on the way down. The RSI on the chart is now showing well oversold so I would expect a bounce in the next day or so unless it is the oppies coming near to expiry which is causing the sell down.
