I’ve had a hideous 2018 myself. Still sitting at minus $30k. Anyway, I still firmly believe that if any asx listed vanadium company is going to mine then it would be AVL. Management are slow yes, but their lack of speed could well be key to the companies success as the PFS should be extremely thorough and concise. All of these projected figures will make it easier for a prospective JV / offtake deal to occur. AVL have the grades and resource size required, there’s a supply deficit and battery storage technology is only going to grow exponentially in due time. I honestly thought the SP would be about 8 to 10 cents now. It shows that the speculation behind the PFS pushed the price up and the lack of news since has sent traders elsewhere but it doesn’t detract from the bigger picture, imo, that AVL have a quality asset and as far as we know, ticks all the boxes to go to production. Being in the red is hard to deal with but every week throws a curveball and it’s hard to know what to expect. 3 cents is absurdly cheap.. there’s only a few ways to handle these small caps.. trade the trend and bail when it seems puffed out or think of longer timescales and think of what the SP could be like in 24 months +. Also the market has obviously been through the ringer lately so that’s compounding the bearish view. I’m assuming you’re a long term holder.. and you’re here because you trust the management, know the FA of the co and know that vanadium will play a crucial role in the years to come.
