Well, we can only hope to enjoy a smidgeon of Avastin's success. Liver and lung are known to be analogous systems, and so I am shocked that PI-88 has no effect in lung tissue. This is what leads me to believe that PI-88 is a dud.
Pancreatic cancer is a particularly tough nut to crack. As is melanoma - chances of PI-88 must be much less than minimal there too.
On the plus side, with Nexavar soon to be approved for PI-88's only Phase III condition, you should soon be able to top-up at record lows. Management has already begun to shuffle the deck chairs on their Titanic ...
