With that notion... basically 90% of the mining sector shouldn't be running or in operation... yet it has survived the decades.. survived recessions, survived commodity crashes and mining boom crashes... why? Because what is in the ground is needed... for the world to go around... banks will take a meager 5% especially mining investment banks... because projects like AUZ need to come online to curve the drastic reduction in stock levels world wide.. want to know what happens when the a end falls out of a commodity and supply doesn't meet demand... the price shoots up.. drastically..
Again mining investment banks work on totally different scales to normal investment banks.. they know this game and know the risk/rewards...
