When iron ore / Magnetite process in the hundreds of thousands of tonnes per week, compared to gold who work in the Kg range.. most successful gold plants pour once a week, from anywhere between 10kg to 60kg worth of gold @98.5% purity as it's resmelted at Perth mint to 99.99% purity.. they also recieve deductions in their gold bars if the contained tin, silver, copper levels are to high.. all which need to be removed prior to smelting.. But always will have trace elements..

Your trying to compare a gold producer who deals in kilos per week to a Nickel Laterite project who processes in the thousands of tonnes per week...

Vastly different mate...
