Yea I gotta agree there too. I strongly believed that SK would take their option because it would be the thing that kicks everything off and would ensure their timelines are met. At this stage I can't really see how AUZ can now meet SKs orginal timeline, so I'm starting to think that perhaps their timeline has changed.

Obviously there's a possibility they have other promising NiCo sources that might meet their needs/deadlines too that they've managed to keep secret (I guess it would depend on Korean disclosure rules and the rules of any other potential partners' jurisdiction). Obviously my hopes are that this is not the case but if it does happen that SK walk I'll need to decide if this is either a much, much longer hold or if I bail (likely bail).

But I feel like that's still one of the more unlikely scenarios. My central thesis is that EV uptake will continue to defy all the modest predictions and hit the S curve. In that case Sconi will definitely be needed.
