I certainly don't question the technical/mining knowledge of said experts.
Why would I invest in AUZ
1. I don't like my money and want to give it to traders
Why wouldn't I invest in AUZ
1. The share price is in a long term(>12 months) downtrend that so far shows no sign of turning around. Quite possibly terminal.
2. The economics don't stack up at current commodity prices. If the commodity prices move then no doubt AUZ will follow, breaking the downtrend and making it a potential investment.
3. The BOD don't have enough faith in the project to invest their own money
4. There are lots of stocks going up at the moment, why buy something going down?
5. 60/40 funding split debt/equity would kill off any significant upside. I don't actually think this will be a problem as I don't think they will get funding any time soon. If commodity prices rise sufficiently to make it attractive to financiers/investors then it's likely to pump the share price before any funding(debt or equity) is done
6. Trust in the management is important. Seeing the ridiculous tweets hinting at SK about to buy in and then the ridiculous ASX query response doesn't inspire confidence for me
7. I'm sure i could list more but that will do
