Potash certainly seems to be a LT speculative investment. As a farmer who observes the third world steadily growing in prosperity, population/longevity, and a desire for better protein diets, it seems axiomatic to me that this will require increasing amounts of supplementary fertilisers.... But my overall doubt remains whether Australian regulations, finance and other bureaucratic barriers, as well as inexorably rising employment and construction costs, will mean that other international projects will fill the gap more efficiently. Perhaps that will be a just outcome for those who need to benefit more than we do, lol!
