Solar cycle wise I noticed that Solar minimum has a greater effect on Earths weather patterns generated from the poles than the equator. Just an observation from last year US Hurricane season.

    Lucky M,
This is an observation that has been made many times by scientist and meterologist pre 80s. NASA, The Indians particulary are allo over this.

Solar minimums and the Polar cell releases or slackens and moves equatorward.
Solar Maximums and the Hadley Cells expands and moves poleward squashing the Ferrel and Polar cells.
Hence why in the IPCC they specifically mention the observed contraction of the polar cells in the latter parts of the 20th century. We all know what happened then. We were experiencing very high sunspot activity. And since sunspots have dramatically dropped of the Polar Cell is loosening and more equatorial excursions of freezing weather is happening.

I posted a video a while ago where your comments are discussed from the 20.00 to 23.10

Along with problems with the science modelling of the SUN and its impact on global climate models. Worth a look at the whole video if one is interested in how our SUN is factored into climate models.
