I understand that... But botnets have been around for nearly 2 decades. There are defenses against it. There was no excuse with the amount of resources the ABS has at their disposal. Why did they not outsource a server farm for their purpose. If Netflix can stream to 1.2 billion then I'm sure it no drama for a government to gather some surveys. Any ip traceroute is visible online go to any Whois doesn't excuse the face they didn't geoblock their site.
