Guys …….. if the most bearish of the doomers are correct it won't make much difference what accounts. equities, ETFs or bonds you hold or where they are held.
Following the collapse of the USSR tradable things of actual worth included gold coins, quality whisky 7 spirits, service barter, Kent cigarettes and a bit of land for a vegetable patch and some chooks.
While I anticipate an economic calamity in the next 12 months it may not be as bad as some doomers predict ……. then again who am I to say. I just look to cash and a few emerging companies with a good story to tell. Business and trade will continue under any economic conditions.
