There are multiple radar solutions out already. The optical solution for tracking space debris is supposed to be complimentary. I.e. reducing the margin of error for orbits.
Monetisation is the key though but between eos and lockheed martin they were going to spend about $160m on development so you'd hope they had a planned market for the data.
The deal is 4 years old though and we are still waiting for revenue
