Considering the politics involved outcomes at this stage IMO are difficult to nail down.
This is the company that some importantish person in Federal Politics went public and declared quote"SCA is unable to build a canoe."I forget who exactly but it was in the papers a while back.
There was/ is speculation the owners (Govt) are be looking to rationalize the companies operations in a big way and some have speculated that it may be even be put up for sale.
ASB have declared they would be an interested party were that to eventuate should it fit their future plans which I imagine meant should the contact be awarded to them they would be up for it.
According to information currently avaliable the first two frigates will definitely be built in SA and I speculate the rest also unless of coarse Austal WA were to take a few of their hands .Stranger things have happened.
