Hi, I'm curious, would it be possible/likely/feasible for Austal to concept a missile defence version of the LCS or to concept an new aluminium (high speed) deeper draft hull capabile of missile defence mission packages?
...Or would you need a larger steel hull frigate/destroyer class for this type of mission, i.e AWD.
Just armchair thinking here, no speculation what so ever.
