I assume the $US2B is the debt of $US1.9b referred to in my assessment.

This amount excludes the amount raised by GBG and invested in KML and also the amount invested by Ansteel.

An early assessment I did showed between 2008 and 3 Dec 2012 Ansteel invested $US608.7m and GBG invested/raised $$US418m for a total of $1.026b.

Loans for the same dates was $1.786b.

But after 3/12/12 there have been at least $US400m - best guess but I can have a look at all the announcements.

So total cost is more than $US3.2b
