Honestly, the govt needing money for what....  oh, the NBN....  $50+ billion of money wasted.  How about the minister paying over $2000 per month for his home internet on Gold Coast (paid by the tax payer, because the uneduated bum (a govt minister or sub minister or ministers shoe shine boy or something official in the govt) cant be bothered signing up for the right plan).  Just dump more money into the hands of the govt, they are able to spend it.

I dont know this topic much or what is fair or not fair.  I just know when the govt says 'hey, there is gas in that land (or ocean), so let us force the developers who spend 10s of billions to develop, to give US, the govt, $6 bill).  And, amazingly Libs and Labor agree.  They both agree they want more billions from the real entrepreneurs.  That way the pollies can live the life of Riley with nil intelligence and nil morals.  When you are in power, simple GREED works well for you.
