    Noticed this piece of news released late in the US trading session.

    3:29PM Placer Dome upped to Strong Buy at CIBC (PDG) 10.89 -0.08: CIBC World Mkts upgrades to STRONG BUY from Buy. Price target $18.

    Price target of US$18 (if reached) would have implied AOR takeover price of $5.66.
