Hey Mate Speaking out of experience with BCN They gave a tiny dividend. Faith in the Management grew at an unbelievable rate. Even now, after 2 years share holders will vouch for the directors. Even now, with 2.5billion shares. Reserves of only 180,000 Oz. Plant just purchased second hand, work needed to make operational, the SP is at 1.9C. All because there is faith in management . IMO Giving a return, however small, is huge for shareholders. They make income without selling their shares, and can look forward to regular future returns from shareholders. But again, that's my opinion.
