That's a good point Hero. Some people like to pick and choose their reality as and when it suits them. To say it has no effect is wishful.
But it doesn't seem to have as pronounced an effect, or as enduring an effect, as one might expect. Australians tend to defer travel plans or change destinations, or perhaps shorten trips. Remember, air travel was once much more expensive than it is now, but that had nothing little to do with the AUD.
