From the inside the dramatic drop in the share price did seem like an over-reaction. There was another announcement earlier in the year I think or late last year about a profit guidance warning and our share price went up.....go figure.

However this time it generated a lot of redundancies. I think because there is an actual softening of the market. I think the resources sector (e.g. iron ore) downturn is being seen as a threat, but also remember during the GFC our share price dropped to $4-$5 and the last couple of years it hit $50. I didn't buy in at the time because we were worried about the GFC and thought we were going to lose our jobs....I still kick myself when I think of this. $5K back then would be worth $35K now. The dividends would have paid off the initial investment by now.

We do have a threat from Webjet, but we offer a 'blended' experience, where you can book online and finish the booking in store. We offer everything Webjet does as well as a physical presence all over the place. I love the culture and the people the company offers. It has been truly an experience. I remember one conference I went to years ago and Skroo spoke about how our share price will hit $50 one day, a lot of us thought he was crazy and the stock price was around $7-$8 at the time.

Skroo won't let the company fail and the SWOT team are constantly looking to adapt. Skroo is definitely not doing this to get richer any more. If you have a look at the past annual reports he's not the highest paid.
