BOQ do these specialist finance things very well. They r like an Australian version of Provident Financial, one of the hottest English stocks in the world today IMHO but pls DYOR.
BOQ also has the best channels for a rising interest rate market in Australia, namely mortgage brokers and business specialists. BOQ raised their rates for investor and some mortgage classes and have not seen any deterioration in home loan customers.
You would think net interest margins will get better for BOQ and the predicted increase in bad debt levels in Australia will not originate unless employment and participation rate goes down and the evidence suggests employment and participation rates are both going up on the eastern states, the key BOQ markets.
