ATV have just completed a placement raising $2.59 Million from a new investor at above market price.
In my opinion this is a huge vote of confidence in the Touquoy project and particularly major vote of confidence in the management of ATV.
Raising significant funds above market in the current toxic environment for gold stocks tells me the low cost Touquoy project has registered on the radar of Asian investors and now ATV have 2 major shareholders instead of 1 and it would certainly get very interesting for the shareprice if the new investor with 9.8% decides he would like to up his holding to the same level as AU Mining and begins purchasing in volume on market, the other interesting aspect is the AU Mining may want to get its holding back up to its previous % level ?

There has been increased volume of late in the stock with someone underpining the shareprice at around 3 cents and with this new investor coming out of the woodwork I have a suspicion that the new director who has been involved with a number of very successful companies may be attracting investors to the company who have made money from this directors previous successes and have put 2 and 2 together and Plutonic was huge and the Plutonic boys are back together again and getting ready to rumble.
The fundamentals for this stock are getting better and better and this placement indicates the funding is definitely available for low cost gold projects like Touquoy.
In my opinion this announcement could be the catalyst to get the shareprice moving upwards and long suffering shareholders could finally start to earn some rewards.
This stock is arguably the most undervalued gold stock on the ASX and 1 Asian investor has just smelt the coffee and Asia is where the money is and Atlantic Gold is on the radar in a big way with this placement the confirmation of that.
