HotCopper has received a legal threat from the company or Directors' lawyers in regards to posts made on these threads. We have already moderated a number of these posts to avoid a prolonged dispute but in the interests of freedom of speech have kept the CMY/ CHP discussion threads open.
Can you please ensure you do not jeopardise this right by posting statements which may be construed as defamatory.
It is imperative you understand how to word a post correctly within the law. We don't want any of our members to be pinged for defamation. It is a very expensive exercise to defend oneself in court. If you are unsure of the rules please read our defamation guide here:
