Mineralisation is very very fine grained.
It makes sense to put the tails back through from the top of the circuit (SAG and ball mills), and when this was done as a test in 2014-2015, they were able to upgrade the tails samples to 9-10% Zn grade concentrate. This is not high grade enough to ship, but it is a good start to take a concentrate toward an electrowinning plant.
