    SPEAKING of West African gold, the latest to join the stampede is AusQuest (AQD) and its joint venture with one of the big Canadian boys, Etruscan Resources, in Burkina Faso. Andrew Muir at Hartleys put a "speculative buy" tag on AQD, noting that while exploration is at an early stage, the tenements are in the right location to have the potential for a multi-million ounce result.
