You would think so, but given how ignored EGA is by the market I am beginning to think only the DFS will break us out. I don’t personally mind as I am in long term and the EGAO fiasco has allowed me to buy more cheaply, but it does make it hard to know when to buy.
I tend to be cautious buying in and so miss some opportunities, but with how much upward pressure has built up in EGA it will be hard to catch once it starts to run. Too risky for me to sit out.
I spent some time on the weekend looking to see how common the EGAO fiasco is (i.e. options held by people who can’t convert so the options trade below their intrinsic value) and it is pretty rare. I only found one possible company and even that looks like an illiquidity effect. It is a very nice money machine Patterson’s has given us.
