IMO and speculation only (fancy that), but I saw this with PCL. Share price gradually fell towards result announcement. I naively thought nothing of it, reading here as an example of "this doesn't mean it's a duster, just people de-risking their holdings" blah blah.

I lost 80% of my investment in PCL.

Not suggesting it's the same, but I am suggesting that people's caution and concern is justified. or at least justifiable.

those confidently saying "nothing to see here, all good news" - are you lying to yourself or others? as has been said, we only know what's in the announcement - but we also know that (despite being illegal) people trade on knowledge coming out of the company/partners. maybe they know something we don't?

again, IMO & DYOR. Not to make investment decisions.

for me, I'm seeing history repeat. and it's scary. I had more liquid assets when I lost money on PCL. If I lose again, I'm at zero and it's a long slog back to anywhere respectable. just being cautious and considering BOTH possible outcomes, not just the one I wish for.
