I would think yes as it is not trading eg buying or selling
if you look at the ASX Guidance Note 27
it mentions about "trading" when they have inside knowledge but taking up an entitled and listed option is not "trading"
would like to see 3 things over the next 40 days
1. this cap raise done and fully taken
2. directors take options fully
3. farmout deal announced (or something to say actual deal discussions have started)
