Ok; maybe "lost nothing" is an over simplification, but Ice2v is an experimental well - objective is data collection. The main interest of the oil was to provide flow data - the residual oil it provided cost more to get out of the ground than we could realise by selling it. But acquiring the oil proved difficult, so the full data acqùisition was hindered to some extent. Lots of data was forthcoming so the cost was not without benefit. Better prepared next time.
