Is this responder SERIOUS that single trades are not considered manipulative??? I will recount a true incident that occurred to me. I bought 474,000 units of a stock as 300k, 40k, 42k and 92k. To keep it simple with the contracts I placed a sell with 4 contracts. I then amended them. Two were taking a while to process. I get a call from CommSec advising me that 2 of my contracts were buys for 30c above the current bid!!! I'm glad he froze the contracts and phoned, or else I would have owned more units- all 4 were meant to be sells. The best bit, he told me that 4 is ok but it's not 'favoured' by CommSec to place more than 6 sell contracts for the same stock, considered price manipulation. I almost choked on my coffee. Asked him about AT and he said that was just VWAP. So was mine, I spread them out in case I was GYPED by the Algos and the price went beyond. I was trying to average my sell>up>up!.
People in glass houses........:))LOL LOL LOL
