"share purchasing community" ? Dont you mean the predatory  selfish top 20 shareholder who has manipulated and suppressed the share price at 1 cent for the last six months  at the expense of every other shareholder.  if that is the measure of support from a top 20 shareholder I would be crossing him off the company  list and penalise him from any participation in future discounted placements and the like.  A trading halt to accompany the proposed dso announcement would also force the punters to pay a premium.
