I have long held the view that the ASX price query process is suspect. Often, it appears that companies clandestinely ask the ASX to query them, so that they can draw attention to themselves by providing a reply.
This would have to be a clear case. So DIO is down 30% in a month in a strong bear market with falling gold prices ?? Big deal ! ASX really have nothing better to do than query that ?? And pigs might fly.
There are several other stocks which have had much more remarkable jumps than DIO and I see no queries there.
