I think this was before we knew that the drill went down to 750 metres
How much of that 750 metres of core actually made it to the assay will determine how long it takes


For those of you waiting on assays. Need to be patient.

Have to understand that once the drill core is sent away the company will no longer have the full core to go back to for study/interpretation/analysis. Sure the core should be photographed before being submitted for assay, but the logging process of the core can take time as they will want to gain as much understanding from the full core as possible.

Once the core is logged and interpretations are completed, then they will determine what parts of the drill core to sample, requiring cutting of the core, QA/QC checks submitted with the samples and then sent off to a laboratory. Depending on which laboratory they choose could be four weeks to get assays back. Before they release the assay results to the market they will again do interpretation of the assay values against the logged geology/lithology and structure.

Whats the depth of the drilling, could be anything, drilling into an unknown area they could be drilling quite rapidly, or they could be encountering poor ground conditions which slow down the drilling, lots can go right, but lots can go wrong as well when diamond drilling.

Until an announcement, it is all just guessing, my thoughts are wont see drill results till July, but no reason cant provide an update on what the drilling intersected in terms of geology and structure before then
