I have received the following response from ASIC this afternoon. In the response is a link to their 'whistleblowers' document that you may find of interest.

They advise that they will reply within 28 days and let me know what they plan to do. At least this response had some action determined.

I advise that ASIC is currently making an initial assessment of the issues you have raised. We aim to contact you again within 28 days to advise you of the outcome of that assessment.
