As per the article link below - I think its the speed of the bot that does more damage than the churning of small unmarketable parcels.
If ASX want tdo a cushy deals for the brokers and make them pay at the end of the day based on net volume or number of sales then so be it.
But make the orders stand for at least 2 seconds before they can be canceled ! that way most retail punters with a reasonable broadband speed can play as well !
The bots will lose a lot more stock when they are capping and will end up buying a lot more stock if they are propping the prices if this simple rule was brought in.
