Harvett, the procedure for abstract submission and review should be well known by anyone who follows biotech stocks, but it is clear that you have no idea.

As you can see from the following extracts from the ASCO website, abstracts had to be submitted by 13 February 2018. Edits are allowed, but not after 13 February. Late-breaking data can be submitted until 15 March, but only for randomised Phase II and III trials.

The abstract that will appear on the Noxopharm website on its day of presentation at ASCO will include data generated between 13 February and 1 June. The abstract that will be published by ASCO on 16 May is irrelevant.

What is the deadline for abstract submissions?​

The deadline for abstract submissions is 11:59 PM (EST) on February 13, 2018.​

Can I revise my abstract after it has been submitted?​

Yes, you may edit your abstract on the submission website until the deadline of 11:59 PM (EST) on February 13, 2018. After the submission deadline, all requests for abstract changes must be submitted by the first author to the ASCO Abstracts team and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Changes to data and results are not permitted.​

Can I submit a late-breaking data submission? If so, what is the deadline?​

Yes, there is an opportunity to submit a late-breaking data submission. However, a “shell” abstract must be submitted by February 13, 2018 (the “shell” includes all components of the abstract except the results and conclusions).
