my thoughts about how this deal was engineered are based on completely unsubstantiated ideas. i have no facts except those which have been revealed to us all.
however... hard to read all that transpired as just coincidence.
the new 'mergeco' will be terrific. really is a 1+1=3 situation. no arguments there. but i feel 'done-over' by the process and the price.
