Your scepticism is healthy. I gave you post a tick for that.
I too have had similar money loss experiences with start up thats did not eventuate, especially in the biofuels industry which can be a big money burner.

One thing about this company that might differentiate however is that they actually have money coming in with their lighting business, and the management seem to be decent. In addtion, the CR is not just a take from us shareholders, but have established a buy-in from an investment group. That's quite impressive.
Of course, if this one takes off, it will REALLY take off.
