Simulation, simulators:

below is my quick-response
if lives are at stake, pilots simulate......when billions of pounds/dollars are at stake including a drivers life then formula one drivers test in simulator mode, when trillions of dollars/euro's have been put into space programmes then astronauts simulate in planes, in deserts and underwater.....are these the real deal, no, of course not......but any experience that provides correct focus is the key.....you see we are instantly disciplined to a specific way of thinking, so discipline is not the key, what is the key is focus, for short periods of time to start, until that focus brings on a new discipline on when, where and how to conduct business......you know most people, ime, who say that simulation is a waste of time, are usually people who already have friends, or a tutor, mentoring them and they've usually already forgotten the stupidity they put themselves through.....that's great.......what about the guy who comes into the arena with no guidance, no "friends in the industry", no experience, thinks working hard is the key, never give, etc etc etc......at the minimum simulators give that person the opportunity to devise a plan and see their own weakness see their own lack of knowledge.....yes a simulator cannot provide an emotional whack and yes the user can trick themselves into "well that's something i wouldnt do anyway" but the truth is that is the same person who would do the same thing in abseiling, skydiving, gliding, rockclimbing, what ever, they'll hurt themselves with no guidance and no simulation.....you think Micheal Jordan spent hours simulating in head? You most top sports people simulate in their head? Yes. Outside of engaging the opposition that's exactly ALL you can do.....plan, plan, plan.......that's it......only THEN can you take small steps in the game.......the opposition to my trades wants to rip that crap out of my account and you know what i dont care if i do it right back.......of course if youve "gotta a mate that trades the ftse" and he's got continuous runs on the board then, yeah,, great, go with him!
the truth is most people run off patterns, well, if youre going through a thimble full or a bucket full of pain you aint focused on the pattern......unless you trade DOM youre a pattern trader, the pattern of 10 second bars or 1 min bars or daily doesnt matter, it's th pattern most traders run off unless theyer stuck in media mode, then theyre just stuffed anyways and if theyre a media slave doesnt matter what mode theyre in, theyre wasting their time the difference being that one involves wasting time only and the other time and money..............currently; Airlines, Open Cart/F1 and Nasa run simulator modes.....
