Let's not forget also the favourable impact of being re-instated back into S&P ASX 200 in the near future. The Fin Review had CER ranked at exactly 200 last Monday (based on market cap). This ranking is published each Monday. Ranking should be even higher tomorrow given that CER is up 1 cent from last week. My understanding is that a company must be in the top 200 for 6 months before it is officially recognised as being part of this index. The P/E ratio should then rise to reflect this new investment status.
