When I purchased FSA 3 plus years ago, they were trading at approximately 31 cents, within a few weeks they were down to 24 cents. A quarter of my money was gone. There was no desire to sell, even though I had a substantial loss to start with. I stayed with them because they seemed like a well-run company with a good story. So far so good. Farmboy - some losers turn into winners and some winners turn into losers.
I currently own CCV and had an opportunity to bail out at $1.60 last year, I was thinking they were overpriced, missed the boat, they are currently trading at under 90 cents. What was I thinking? Whatsnext – don’t get caught out like me.
Last year I bailed out of NEA at approximately at 42 cents after buying them months earlier at under 10 cents. They are now 60 cents. No regrets. One day they will drop again. You have to live in hope when you play the market - hey Volm21.
Everybody has their own theories as to when to buy or sell. Whatever works for you. Provided you are making money and learning lessons, then you’re winning. Let’s be honest, you need a crystal ball to get it right.
