The revival in Victorian gold has also seen Arete Capital Partners acquire the Stawell Gold Mine in December 2017. Campbell Olsen, CEO of Arete, says, ‘‘We are looking to restart operations at the Stawell Gold Mine in 2019 based on the success from our recent underground drilling programs. We see the Irvine Gold Project as a new potential source of ore down the track.
Bingo. with Irvine, Navarre can end up as a producer very quickly. Stawell is a fully approved and permitted gold mining operation with an approved tailings dam. So go and drill Irvine.
Kirkland Lake Gold which is a shareholder in Navarre gets a mention to,

Commenting on Navarre, John Landmark, vice president Australian Exploration Kirkland Lake says, ‘‘Geoff and his team have made some very important gold discoveries and, through targeted exploration, we believe there is significant opportunity to reveal another multi-million-ounce gold deposit in Victoria. Navarre’s discoveries occur in our patch and we look forward to further success.’’
So we have a gorilla PE firm like Arete Capital just about to start up a the Stawell Gold Mine and maybe taking Navarres ore. Financially strong shareholders being Kirkland Lake Gold and Victor Smorgan Group putting $ in at the cap raise last week.
Then there is Tandarra.
Navarre’s other major asset is the Tandarra Gold Project north of Bendigo, where, in partnership with Catalyst Metals, the company is searching for another high-grade ‘‘Fosterville’’.
Early drilling has yielded several high-grade hits, including an 11-metre intercept at 17.8 g/t gold.
The company has also made two early-stage gold-silver discoveries this year in western Victoria at its Glenlyle and St Arnaud projects.

I am a shareholder and think this stock will do really well. I used to think my investment in the company might turn into a new Ford Ute, but am thinking now it might become a Range Rover Sport.
