Have you read the book ? I thought the link would take me to at least a review of the book but nothing. Did you actually even read the article you've commented on ? I think you'd be embarrassed if you actually read the book.

Why do you label him a pedophile ? Yes, he committed a disgraceful and reprehensible crime, one time. He admitted guilt as part of a plea deal , his lawyers were negotiating a sentence which he was prepared to serve. He was allowed to go to germany, he returned when ordered to and served some time. Everything was standard practice until he learned the judge under pressure from a media frenzy was going to break the plea deal and sentence him to possibly 50 years.

Are you trying to equate that to the pedaphilia which has been (finally and long overdue) exposed recently in the royal commission ? Doesn't look the same to me. (As an aside, absolutely paltry disgracefully low payouts on offer in my opinion, but I hope the victims got some sense of justice and redress.)

Did you know that Samantha Geimer has publicly forgiven him ? Did you know they have privately arranged a financial compensation ? Did you know that she is vehemently opposed to all the attempts to extradite him and charge him ? Did you know she went to court to try and get the case against him dismissed ?
You want to get all morally outraged and pretend you care about the victim then maybe you should actually consider what she wants ?

The latter appear overjoyed in particular to have one of their long-lost whipping boys returned to them.
