Hey Chris,
Glad to see your still got AOE. Long time no hear (ASF).
I read it as AOE maybe in negotiations with Shell for the best outcome for share holders and maybe even for the survival of AOE as a separate entity for Shell.
Hate to see AOE get taken over after so many years, I think it is on the verge of becoming a great company.
I think there is a leak somewhere in the company which is keeping the public informed. Hence the first initial "offer" announcement on the ASX before anything was certain.
That one little comment "That is despite a story in the Australian Financial Review that says Arrow is set to reject the bid as too low."
We all know it is a very low offer and AOE is fighting for its survival.
AOE has some great smarts at the wheel I am sure they will do the best deal they can. I think this may go down a hostile bid.
