Yes, I rang Clarke Dudley at the company yesterday and got through to him on the second call. I would say he was under a lot of pressure at present. I asked about the fact that those on site would have far more knowledge of what it was compared to the rest of us. He was quite angry (my impression of his response) in accusing me of wanting inside information. He stated he didn't know what it was and had not been told, and to ask those on site!! I explained that was not the point at all and shouldn't the company be in a TH or Susp until the results came back from the lab. He was unimpressed but calmer, stated the solicitor had turned up and said goodbye.
As I said, my impression was he was under a lot of pressure yesterday, and the initial response was one of those from someone stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I have had a good long look at the photo on the first page of the announcement and compared it to every photo of pentlandite and description I can find on the internet, including going to nickel companies and looking at their nickel cores which often don't come up in google searches.
There appears to be both a darker and a lighter silvery material, when you look carefully. The medium grey silvery colour is likely to be pyrohitite while the lighter colour grey silver within it is probably pentlandite.
Can any of the geos that have so far stated a dud, tell me what the lighter of the 2 colours is if not pentlandite? I certainly do not see any chalcopyrite (Cu) there.
