A lot of speculation of us being a takeover target at this time!
Do we tick the right boxes for being such a target:
undervalued share price = yes
Lithium producer with opportunity for scale = yes
Good quality resource = yes (however Lom is short and requires additional funds to drill out)
Any synergy with some of the big lithium plays that would add value = uncertain (would suit others within close proximity, those with refineries which convert to hydroxide and who need additional supply)
High standard of production = uncertain (still ramping up, plant upgrades, sufficient water resource when plant upgrades increase production capacity?)
Would the shareholders and BOD accept a buyout offer = uncertain (if the price is right? What would you be happy with?)
What would the impact be for us shareholders:
Agreed sale price as a premium% above sp (hopefully we make a profit or at least break even)
Possible risk of sp manipulation as BOD choose to look after themselves first, in takeover negotiation (Let me rather not comment)
Get paid out in shares from new company with dilution (likely scenario imo)
