A tesla car at a super charging station can get a usuable charge in 30-40 mins. On a home system, you are there all night. Truck has a battery 10 times as large or whatever. How do you charge that in 30-40 min? Its more like 300 min? Or more. Alternatively you need some type of mega wattage charging station to charge it in a short space of time, but that requires incredible power, you wont get that on 3 phase power instead transformers etc will be required, that creates other issues.
This stuff is a long way off and no serious trucking company is going to risk their businesss on a Musk fantasy. None of this is proven, Tesla never does any real prototype testing. They did not even proto test the 3. It seams there are allot of Tesla acolytes caught up in the Cult of Tesla but ignoring basic fundamentals.
