Quite frankly I don't really care about Tesla's electric truck,, IMO it will only be a delivery vehicle for light loads.. Heavy haulage should stay with Deisel trucks for decades to come.
I know that you would like to see the world move towards nuclear power , as I would,, but unfortunately due to factors beyond our control the majority of people cringe at the thought of nuclear power,,, It is just the way it is...
Just as you would like the world to head towards Nuclear power (as I would) the world is embracing renewable energy sources.. Battery powered vehicles are on the horizon and there will be good money to be made by investors who get in early enough by buying shares in companies that profit from the way that the world is changing.
Luckily in Australia we have companies that are listed on the ASX that are already profiting from this change in attitude, and will continue to grow stronger in the future.
At the turn of the century Saudi Arabia had a huge supply of oil that was basically worthless until the invention of the internal combustion engine.
I have just returned from a trip to Asia and I noticed that a lot of electric motor bikes where starting pop up in different places.. Basically all of the tools in my house run on lithium batteries, including the lawn mower.
But this is small stuff in comparison to what will be needed once they are mass producing cars worldwide.. This is a real game changer and many companies involved in the battery creation technology will benefit greatly... Starting with the miners of the elements required to produce the batteries. Fortunately we have many of these miners her in Australia.
As I said before,, what is happening to the price of the minerals required to produce batteries is what you guys were after in regards to Uranium... Although PDN may now be as good as gone,, it has been replaced by PDN's of the Lithium world.. You just need to find them.
