I have serious concerns about Ariadne's integrity in relation to Ardent and have decided not to support their bid to have four directors appointed to the board. Their intervention seems opportunistic and misleading, and their plan to 'fix Ardent' is naive and lacking in originality. At best they are likely to claim credit for improvements already in progress by the existing board and management, at worst the appointment of four big egos to the board could de-rail the business.

I am now convinced that the existing management has a much more credible plan for Ardent. While I agree that some improvement in governance is required, this should be handled through the normal board renewal process.
