BDO PARTNERS STEPHEN DIXON AND LAURIE FITZGERALD APPOINTED TO ADVISE ON WINDING UP OF ARASOR PTY LTD

Melbourne: BDO Partners Stephen Dixon and Laurie Fitzgerald have been appointed by the Board of Directors of ASX-listed company Arasor Pty Ltd (ABN 29 119 999 441) to advise them on winding up the company.
Notices are being sent to all shareholders today to seek their approval for the formal appointment of Mr Dixon and Mr Fitzgerald as Liquidators. Their appointment will be formalised at a meeting of shareholders to be held in Melbourne on May 16, 2011. A meeting of creditors will be held within 11 days following this.
Mr Dixon said that once the appointment of Liquidators had been approved, they would commence an examination of the circumstances behind the company?s collapse and work in the best interests of Arasor creditors, in accordance with the Corporations Act.
At this stage it is too early to comment further on the company and its financial affairs.
